A few interesting links

Just thought I'd put up a few of my favourite links to sites and information that I find useful or interesting.

There are a lot of great how to videos on Youtube if you just search, but two of my favourite channels are Auntie's Beads  and Beadaholique, they both also have great websites which have free tutorials and other interesting stuff.  I have also bought beads from Beadaholique .

Magpie Gemstones also has some great ideas, and this handy bead size conversion chart

Also for something a bit different there is the Bead Soup Blog Party.  Looks like a lot of fun :)

This I found on Lori Anderson's blog Pretty things.  http://www.prettythingsblog.com/
You sign up for it and get sent a package of beads to work with and you send someone a pack of beads back, a great way to fire up your imagination.  Will have to try it one day.

Firemountain Gems have some amazing stuff http://www.firemountaingems.com/ check out the EncylcoBeadia tab, has some great info.

And of course you can always Google free beading stuff for patterns etc, and I usually scour Ebay for good cheap beads.  One downside of not living in one of the major cities is that our local bead shop isn't very big, so I get most of my supplies online.

Well that's about it for now, I have probably missed some but I will do another update at a later date.
Thanks
